The death toll for the tsunami that struck Indonesia last Friday hit 1,200 two days ago, as reported by NPR.
While scientists are still determining the exact cause, one of the primary theories at this point in time is a 7.5 magnitude earthquake offshore that caused a large underwater landslide in Palu Bay.
